Welcome to Café Spice, a hidden gem nestled in the vibrant heart of Darlington town centre, Clarks Yard. Our story began in June 2008 with a remarkable opening ceremony led by the esteemed MP of Darlington, Alan Milburn.

At Café Spice, our passion lies in crafting culinary masterpieces that embody the essence of Bengali Indian cuisine. With meticulous care and unwavering attention to detail, our talented Chef and owner, Mr Brian Miah, ensures that each dish is a work of art, bursting with authentic flavours.

We have been honoured with esteemed accolades such as The National Curry Awards 2022 and Curry Life Awards 2021 for Best Restaurant, recognising our commitment to excellence. Additionally, we have proudly won the Bangladesh Caterers Association's (BCA) Best Indian Restaurant North East in 2014, 2016, and 2019, while our very own Chef Miah was crowned as BCA's Chef of the Year in 2017.
